Dr. Sebastian Binder is moving from Flick Gocke Schaumburg to Walberg & Cie. in Munich and strengthens tax practice

Munich, November 1, 2024 — Dr. Sebastian Binder (39 years) joins Walberg Law Tax Strategy GmbH & Cie. KG (”Walberg & Cie.“) as an associate partner with effect from November 1, 2024. He is advised on corporate tax law, M&A tax and real estate tax law at the Munich office of Walberg & Cie. and further expand tax practice together with Managing Partner Manuel Brühl.
Binder began his career in 2014 at the international law firm Linklaters in the area of corporate tax law. He then worked at Flick Gocke Schaumburg in the area of group and corporate tax law, most recently as an associate partner.
Binder advises investors, entrepreneurs, medium-sized companies and corporations on M&A transactions, restructurings and ongoing corporate tax law issues. He also has particular expertise in real estate taxation and real estate transfer tax. In his professional career to date, he has been involved in numerous important national and international transactions and has earned an excellent reputation in this area in particular. For example, it was used by the Webasto Group to sell their charging business to the US private equity company Transom Capital Group. He was also part of the team that advised the US company Baxter International on the sale of the Biopharma Solutions division to the US private equity companies Advent International and Warburg Pincus. Binder regularly works on cross-border constellations, particularly in relations between the USA and Germany.
